TunedTester

TunedTester is a Java application for automated testing of algorithms from TunedIT Repository, according to test specification provided by the user. It runs locally on user's computer. All resources necessary to set up a test are automatically downloaded from Repository. If requested, TunedTester can submit results of tests to Knowledge Base - this feature is turned off by default, to activate it you must check the box "Send results to Knowledge Base" in TunedTester GUI.

Download & Install

You can download TunedTester from Repository as tunedtester.zip or tunedtester.tar.gz file. After downloading un(g)zip the file and run tunedtester.sh (on Linux) or tunedtester.bat (on Windows). On other operating systems, open the system console and manually run the "java..." command found in tunedtester.sh. Java Runtime Environment 6 must be installed to run TunedTester. If you do not have JRE 6 you may get it from Sun's Java SE Downloads, look for Java SE Runtime Environment entry.

Important: when running TunedTester manually from the console as "java ...", please remember NOT to omit the JVM parameter -Djava.security.policy=security.policy, otherwise the security sandbox for test execution will be turned off. Also, make sure that the command is executed from TunedTester directory created during installation, where tunedtester.jar and security.policy files reside.
