Is it everything ok with authors_lectures.csv file ?

Postby ponec » Mon May 23, 2011 1:33 am

I'm asking because readme.txt gives "9,733 entries" but csv have filled only 9732 rows (header included) and how it is possible that lecture_id = 131 have more then 183 unique author_id's, it a bit strange for me, especially giving extremaly low submissions rate which suggest that mayby others see some some problems with data too. (sorry for my english)

Dear contestant,

File authors_lectures.csv seems perfectly valid although you are right in one aspect. It contains 9731 rows,
( without the header); we had put wrong number of entries written in readme.txt file
(9733 - we have corrected that, thanks).

The answer to your second question:
"how it is possible that lecture_id = 131 have more then 183 unique author_id's ..."

We do not find any such problems in the file!
Actually, authors_lectures.csv file contains only one row related to
lecture_id 131 and that is:
103, 131

This line says that lecture 131 has author - 103 ! And this particular lecture has only one author.
In principle, there can be more authors for one lecture.

Best regards and good luck,
