Can we get a sample subset of GPS datasets?

Postby seyhan » Wed Jul 14, 2010 2:55 pm

Hi,

The GPS dataset is huge and I am unable to open the dataset, not to mention analyzing the dataset, on my 4G desktop.

Is it possible to get a sample dataset of GPS data as such we could use it on 4G RAM machine?

Seyhan.

Seyhan,

We've created a 10% subset of training data. You can find it here: http://tunedit.org/repo/ICDM/2010/publi ... ing_10.zip (please log in first, and you must be registered to the challenge). By the way, if you use Linux, you may try in similar cases the head, tail or split programs, which are standard command-line tools on Linux.

Thanks for good suggestion. Marcin
