confusion w.r.t JAM data

Postby conuco » Sat Jul 10, 2010 9:06 pm

I presume the five streets with roadworks are provided somewhere in the data file. Are they the the first five entries in each row of the data file (both train/test)? Thanks.

I too have the same doubt . Please clarify this issue .

Can the 1st 5 roads in the test & train data be considered as 3 major and 2minor roads damaged (for each 1hr simulation) ?

Yes, exactly. The first 5 roads are the segments excluded due to roadworks. Both in training and test dataset.

Are these 5 roads' segments only one directional?

Adding to the above doubt ..Are all roads uni-directional or Should we consider each road to be bi-directional ?

Eg. Suppose A_B is a road jammed , then the path from A to B is jammed right ? If the path from B to A is jammed , it will be separately mentioned right?

Hi,

Yes, all segments are one directional. Segments A->B and B->A may be jammed independently.
