Summary

The ISMIS 2011 Contest: Music Information Retrieval has come to an end. We thank all the contestants for participation and hope you enjoyed the event and gained valuable experience. The competition attracted very large interest among Data Mining and Music Information Retrieval community: 292 teams with 357 members had registered, 150 of them actively participated, submitting over 12,000 solutions in total, largely outperforming baseline methods. The top three teams are:
